My Camera
Aperture.
The space through which light passes in a camera. The higher the aperture is on your camera, the picture is more focused, with less light passing through. The lower the aperture is on your camera, the picture is less focused, with more light passing through.
My aperture examples.
The images below show the range of aperture, from a low aperture to a high aperture. I used a three cactus's as my object so therefore I could show the difference within each image of how the aperture changes a photograph.
Shutter Speed.
Shutter speed or exposure time is the length of time when the film or digital sensor inside the camera is exposed to light. Therefore the higher the number is of the shutter speed the of a moving object, the clearer the image, whereas the smaller the number on the shutter speed, the blurrier the image is.
My Shutter Speed examples.
Below are my examples of my shutter speed practice. I found this task difficult because the lighting of the image was difficult to get right due to the exposure of the images.
